Scottish Country Dance is challenging both to teach and to perform. The Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) is the official organization which certifies SCD teachers. Those who become certified instructors go through a rigorous testing process, consisting of a preliminary exam followed by a qualifying exam. These can be quite stressful for the candidates. In the interest of easing this stress somewhat by aiding the candidates to be more prepared, Bob Blair and his wife have collected questions from both the preliminary exams and the qualifying exams. Sample questions from each exam have been placed in these files.
