| 1-8 | 1C set, cast down one place and dance ½ figure 8 round 2C who step up WHILE 4C set, cast up one place and dance ½ figure 8 round 3C who step down |
| 9-12 | 1W & 4W dance under an arch made by 1M & 4M. Turn corners with free hand to face up and down |
| 13-16 | 1C & 4C dance down/up (C dancing UP makes arch) and turn corners with free hand |
| 17-24 | Repeat bars 9-16 from new positions |
| 25-32 | 1C & 4C dance half rights and lefts and turn partner RH once round |
| Repeat having passed a couple. | |
| Note: | No need to be madcap to make this dance enjoyable. Good rule of thumb: don't dance faster than you can think. |
