| 1-2 | 1C, no hands, dance down to 2nd place to face out on opposite side. 2C step up |
| 3-4 | 1W&3M change places LH, while 1M&3W change places RH |
| 5-8 | 1C turn half way round with RH, lead up to 1st place and stay in the center. 2C & 3C step down on 7-8. |
| 9-16 | 1C, in promenade hold, dance a reel of three across the dance with 2C, giving RSh to 2W to begin. 1C finish in center facing down, 2C in 2nd place. On bar 16 3C step in to face up, join near hands |
| 17-18 | 1C, 2C, 3C set |
| 19-20 | 1C & 3C “petronella in tandem” into the side lines while 2C petronella into the center; 2W in 1st place facing down; 2M in 3rd place facing up |
| 21-24 | 1C, 2C, 3C joining hands in a circle set and then, pulling back RSh cast one place to the L to finish in original places |
| 25-32 | 1C & 2C dance the Knot |
| Repeat having passed a couple. |
